10 year anniversary cruise

So we just got our passports!!! So awesome! We are going on our Disney cruise Feb 5-12, 2012 departing from L.A. We are going to Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. We were supposed to go to Mazatlan as well but it got cancelled because of "violence" over there. So we have 2 days in Cabo instead. We already booked a city tour for Puerto Vallarta. We still don't know what we want to do in Cabo. I am so excited!!! I love cruises!! And it is a Disney cruise! It is less than 2 months away! I just can't wait!! It is a good way to celebrate 10 years of marriage! We got our first disney passes on our honeymoon so it is very fitting we do something Disney for our 10 year celebration. I just can't wait! :)

We were literally the last ones who finished the walk! I was so tired. But that didn't stop us from going to the Cabazon outlets on the same day!!! :0

Long Time

Well it has been a long time since I wrote an entry in this blog. Since June we went to our District Assembly, had a hot summer, and much much more. We have had so much stuff going on. We went to a nice anniversary party for our friends the Tomlinson's who have been married 20 years. We got to dress up and everything. Veronica did my makeup and she did a great job! We saw Joy and Jonathan who came to California for a visit. We have hung out on numerous ocassions with Jimmy and Megan. We went camping. I went to visit my niece and nepehw. Jude turned 1. Sofia is almost 3. I dyed my hair a lighter red. We took professional pictures with Marcel and Veronica. My car's handle to the driver side window broke. I had to replace 2 tires because of driving with them almost flat. I started seeing a therapist. Karson got me a Kindle (early anniversary gift). Karson has been on overtime (10 hour days, some saturdays) for almost 3 months. He is so tired every day! Ummm what else. Oh Kira had a baby boy and they named him Emry. We also gave them a shower and they really appreciated it.
Well I can't think of anything else so I guess I will sign off

Quinton Graduated!

So the most exciting news to share is that my youngest brother, Quinton, graduated on June 10th! I can't believe he is 18 and now out of high school! I remember the day hew was born and every day after until I got married and moved out when I was 23. He was only 9 when I got married. Yup it was pretty hard leaving him and my other little bro Chris. In fact I shed many tears because I missed them. Then when I moved from Rosemead to Long Beach then Moreno Valley it put even more distance between us. My fondest memories of Quinton were of when he was very young. I was 14 when he was born. I loved helping to take care of him. Time sure does fly! I feel so old!
On that note we were discussing age recently. We went to the movies with our friends but there also was a group of younger ones from our hall that were there. Afterwards all the young ones were standing in a circle and all us older ones in another. We were saying once you hit 30 you are put in a whole new catagory. You become the "adults". You know the adults the young ones stay away from or avoid. Also you know you are old when at the assemblies you wear comfy shoes and you don't buy new outfits to impress anyone.
Well that is all for now. Enjoy some pictures from Q's graduation.

The Getty Museum

This past Saturday we went to the Getty Museum with Jimmy and Megan. Jimmy has never been so we were excited to take him. We took lots of pictures but we got to see alot of art work and other stuff. My favorite was the exhibit on Paris. It was so neat. I also enjoyed the photographs.
Here are a few of the pictures we took at the Getty.

We went to a restaurant on the Santa Monica Pier called "The Lobster" We waited an hour for our table but we had some drinks at the bar. It had a great view of the pier and the ocean even though we couldn't see it by the time we sat down to eat. They had very very good food and of course we enjoyed lobster. We even had some bubbly sparkling wine. So good. It was a nice end to a great day. :)
